Nick and Judith are delighted to be celebrating 25 years since their first Henderson:Hooper duo concert. To mark the occasion, they will be giving an afternoon concert on 26th September, in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
- Venue: Church of St James the Great, Stonesfield
- Date: Saturday 26th September
- Time: 4pm (doors open 3.30pm). If you have mobility issues that mean you need a seat in a particular place, near the exit or near the front for example, we recommend arriving as close to 3.30pm as possible.
- Admission: no tickets. Cash donations on the door, and please just choose the amount you would like to give. Please note we do not have a card machine.
- Refreshments: complimentary wine and soft drinks in the St James’ Centre during the interval.
- Duration: the concert should finish by 6pm.
- Parking: there is limited parking at the St James’ Centre. We are hoping to arrange additional parking and will post details here nearer the time.
Donations on the door are cash only. If you would rather give online, or you cannot make the concert but would still like to help, you can donate directly to Alzheimer’s Society.
About Henderson:Hooper
Since June 2001, Nick (guitar) and Judith (fiddle) have been performing their self-penned tunes, alongside traditional tunes from England, France and Eastern Europe, and tunes by contemporary folk musicians including Pete Cooper, John Dipper, Bruce MacGregor and Rob Harbron. Their first full-length CD, ‘Pete’s Trees‘, was recorded at Real World Studios and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, and was released in 2018. The second edition includes an additional track, ‘Farewell Aragog’, originally written by Nick for the soundtrack to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. More about Henderson:Hooper.
